Washington, 5 June (IranVNC)—Iran’s Ministry of Science has suspended from their graduate studies four Tabriz University graduate students, for their alleged political activities during their time at the university.
The Tehran-based Amir Kabir University student newsletter identified the four suspended students as Nader Mahd Qareh-Bagh, Samad Pasha’i, Nahid Babazadeh and Amin Emami.
According to the report, Tabriz University officials have barred Sajjad Rad-Mehr, a mechanical engineering graduate student, from participating in the defense of his Master’s thesis, and have summoned him to appear before the university’s disciplinary committee.
