Washington, 8 June (IranVNC)—Amnesty International on Sunday protested the arrest in the central Iranian city of Qom of a female university student, who the rights group says is likely being tortured in detention
.
Nahid Kalhor, who was charged on 1 June with “having ties to groups who are against the Islamic Republic,” is, according to confirmed reports, being detained in an unknown location where she is “in danger of mistreatment and torture,” Amnesty said.
